Music: Hensley Lyrics: Harris

I'm on the run. They're after me again. I only tried to get to you my friend and it never ends. You said you'd let me come to you when I was in need. I needed just a friend or two. Oh yes, I'm in need of you.

Now I've been searching, looking for you. I've got to get back to where I wanted to

I'm at the crossroads. I'm living in a world of crime. Crossroads. And life isn't treating me so kind. I'm at the crossroads. I'm walking in a danger zone. I'm at the crossroads. I'm running out of time.

Should I turn left? Should I turn right? Or shall I follow through to see the light? Living for the day. Fighting for the night.I only tried to get to you my friend and it never ends.

My contribution to this performance was sitting out in the crowd, probably with my arms folded. (standard musician pose). Jeff invited me to come see his new band and they were better than I expected. A few months later I would join them and scare off their drummer so all we could use was a drum machine- which scared us some of the time. I was a bit taken aback by them playing at such an established club with the lights and excellent sound system. It feels good being surrounded and enhanced by that stuff. I had yet to experience that. Of course, in Torrod we had our own lights and sound but it never worked to it's potential. To just get up and play with no worries that your investment is killing you is a relief.

COOOOL! All original country and western. Nice touch. I remember that night at Colemans in Rome NY. All four of us were sick with colds. But it felt good to be up there with all the lights and nice PA. We were kind of used to this by now at the time. Nothing cures ailment like performing with hot lights and sweating it out. The fog was kind of bothersome to the sinuses though it looked cool. Crossroads is a song which Billy, Todd & myself played in a band called LYNX years prior to Harbinger as a five piece unit but we adapted it to our four piece unit because we liked it so much. Todd wrote the song so we were able to keep performing it. I had invited Tom to come check us out and he accepted and I believe he brought his cousin Shane Lewis up with him. Either before or after the show, I am unsure which, we invited them to hang out with us on our tour bus and they accepted. A good time was had by all I am sure. I think they may even be in some video footage on the bus from that show. You can hear Rick "Mosh" Turner on the camcorder at the beginning of Crossroads saying "International Harbinger." I have no idea why he said this but he was kind of off the cuff like that. Gary was behind his drums for a while on this particular night. I believe this is the night he made out with his girlfriend at the front edge of the stage for about ten minutes which was the length of Todd's guitar solo. We were VERY unimpressed...with Gary that is. I really wanted to leave a good impression with Tom and I think we did in the very beginning. Anyhow, hope you enjoy the clip. And by the way…nice choice Tom!

Tom's Rebuttle: If I recall there is/was a company called International Harbinger and I think they are like John Deer and make farm equipment- that would be why Rick has the "twang" in his voice. Then again, I could be wrong about all this.
