Music: Hensley Lyrics: Harris
Many moons ago when time stood still, lived a nation strong and proud. No machines, their minds were pure. Anything they could endure. Then came the storm and tore their empire to the ground. Just you be warned. You didn't expect it did you.

Something wicked in the air tonight. Nothing of our earthly kind. Storm clouds forming with the smell of death. Power's origin unknown.

Even though the nations thinned so fast, they knew they'd prevail atlast. Events of time destroy mankind. We've fallen victims to ourselves. We are the storm and the sacred nations weep. We have been warned. You didn't expect it did you.

Something Wicked in the air. Something Wicked every where. Something Wicked in our minds. Something Wicked all the time.

This song dates back to Harbinger before I joined. It's just an absolutely lethal yet tastey song from Todd. I think I added some harmony overlays in the verses and created a better ending for the song which was always my forte'. Todd use to do this off time melody in the break section but by this performance we were just hammering out the power chords so people could headbang or mosh or what ever- which is evident in this video. It was shot on camcorder at our blistering show at Rock Fest '93 which is also the audio for our bootleg style live CD- Live das Boot. I edited this to letterbox because all that sky in the background took away from the video. I love the scream in the intro, it's very similar to Queensryche's "Queen Of The Ryche" intro which is always a "schwing"moment for me and perfectly executed here live. Jeff is probably half flattered and half annoyed at the comparisson. It's just a great vocal all around for him. The outro is actually taken from our song Amber Waves right after the harmony solo. Cool idea and I don't even think it was mine.

Last song of the show. What a show! There must have been thousands there. Something Wicked was a song which Todd and I wrote in the first form of Harbinger. It had such staying power. With the addition of Tom in Harbinger (2), the second guitar added such depth and power to the song that it just felt good and gutsy. We kept it in Archivon because the addition of Brian, believe it or not, made it even that much more powerful! Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Tom and Todd made a m8 section which was slammin'! I feel like jamming it right now! The only thing which seems weird on the video is that when we were on Earth, playing in daytime exposed the trees and sky. I remember Earth's beauty. I really miss it. I thought we had all bases covered but we overlooked the background. Perhaps it is the camera angle which is panned way back. Ok, I'm over it. Cool ending to our show. The guys from Floating Noah were stage diving and had tried to form a mosh pit. If you're watching closely, you will see me jump off stage and into the fun. No, I wasn't making a sandwich at the counter during our outro. This is where the keyboards were set up but you can't see them. I was playing them during our outro. Look at Brian way up there by himself on the drums. The angle doesn't do the height he was at justice. The ramps in the middle leading to the drum riser from the front stage were 10' long with our logo on them. If you look closely to the left you can see part of a pavilion roof line. Notice how close Brian's drums are to this roof line in height. Notice how high he is in comparison to the people up front on the ground. Notice the spaceship flying over head somewhere in the beginning of the video. Curious. It is orangish red and flies very fast yet seems very low because we were up so high. Oh, wait, that was a Nerf football.
