| Finally, a song that was eventually put to vocals on the EOR "Check" album. This became A Way. It's pretty much unchanged though I think the intro riff was shortened a measure- by Jeff of course. He hates long intros. To be redundant with the A Way liner notes it's just a great drop D groove. The break section plays a note sequence then I do some harmonic taping of the same sequence ala Eddie Van Halen in "Dance The Night Away". It's a technique I enjoy using. I used it in Frame Of Mind from the UDM "Smash Hits" album and I'm sure I'll use it again down the road. |

A Way. This piece feels so naked without vocals. Hate is such a callous word. I don't hate long intro's... I dislike them. I am not a fan of waiting a long period of time to hear the vocals. Kind of like this CD. I had to wait a long period of time before I heard vocals. 8 Songs to be exact.
