Some where in my other liner notes I pat myself on the back for my perceived talent at sequencing song orders for an album. For me personally Arrive is the obvious opener as this is pretty much a personal collection of songs. Otherwise I would not have opened with this. Keeping in mind all these songs were written for vocals this one is way too repetitive and of all the songs could have used an overdub of lead work to hold your interest. As I mentioned in the album notes, I let my one word impressions determin song titles and I just envisioned somthing or someone arriving in this could of dust or fire that is the intro. Then as the dust clears the groove of the song kicks in and this presence appears. An obvious opener for an album from that perspective but probably too tedious a song without lyrics.

"I've seen the break of day. I've been there when the night falls. And all that's in between. I've seen it all".

That's what I remember writing for this piece. Somewhere I have the whole lyrical content on paper. But it doesn't matter because I won't be recording vocals to this piece.
