All these years day after day. Same routine never seems to change. I've got to get out, need a change of pace. I'm sick and tired of this same old place.

One life to live. Live it while you can. No time to lose. Can you feel it when I take command?

Live it up before it's too late or things may never be the same. Live it up never give in. It's your life let the party begin. Live it up reach for the sky. Spread your wings so you may fly. Live it up can you hear my cry. Live your life before you die.

Seems like time is always standing still. And that I never get my fill. I'm feeling locked in. Can't seem to break out. I'm gonna have to figure my life out.

It's funny, I was about to pan this song, the whole anthem type lyric but the following year I would record Sweet Revenge which is kind of in the same vain- what a hypocrit. Actually it's a cool change where the chorus is kind of a pop riff then it goes crunch when the verse kicks in. I like the outro solo section as well.

I didn't write this song so I really don't know what is about. I just sang it. The song was totally written when I joined the band as the last member so I didn't have the input power being low man on the totem pole. It's actually a pretty good song. I would have lyrically written differently but I'm not going to be critical of the work because I grew to appreciate the style. The chorus flowed very nicely. I made some edits in lyrics and vocal melody but that's about the extent of it. I really like Andy's drum intro. Todd did an outstanding job in writing this tune. I like every riff. Chad's contribution at the outro is a fine addition. Why can't anyone ever capture the power in my screams the way they sound live? The guys all sang back-up on this tune as well.
