Music: Hensley, Words: Harris

We've always been lead to believe they come from the heavens. Who'd of thought there would be another world under the ocean. Some say there's only life, others say there's only death I say they're blind. The answer's plain to see, we all may hold the key in our mind.

Our quest to go where no mans ever gone before. We seek the other life.

I believe we've been held from the truth to keep us from panic. You may find Egypt holds all the clues that point to Atlantis. Are the light years ahead? Are we light years behind? It does not matter. Either way life will progress, all secrets will confess unto each other.

Life, world peace, high technology exists somewhere, but where nobody knows. Someplace there has to be a better race. Somewhere out there but will we ever know.

I feel an IRS audit coming- Thanks Jeff! This song like XL was all Todd's parts but I arranged the monster. I don't think I added anything musically (except drum programming) to the song other than the final chord. It was well crafted with outstanding chording blends and a fantastic groove in the chorus. I've always enjoyed this song but the one thing that bugs me is that we didn't guite get the intro recorded at it's best. Todd had some harmonic squeals in the notes of his demo which really made the intro stand out and he just didn't get the same sound or feel in this recording. Todd handles most of the guitar solo but I do sneak a modest section at the end. Jeff has a great melody in this but like Birds Of A Feather there's a spot here or there I wish I asserted myself more in getting him to take it up a notch. Billy and I again sing backing vocals and it took a loooong time to nail it.

Blasphemous! I hope and pray that God has created this "other life" which I wrote of… if it even exists. I think I wrote this mostly on the premise of the possibility of intelligent life other than ourselves, and our pursuit of discovering the truth whether through space exploration or extra terrestrial contact or whatever method one can think of. The possibilities could very well be infinite. The second verse of the song taps into the possibility of our government withholding the truth from us. Now whether or not this is the case with the theme of the song, we know this to be fact in many other instances. So why should this subject matter be any different? The author would suggest in the end of the song that the Government would like us to believe that it wouldn't even matter to us "puppets" if there is more intelligent life out there and that life will still go on either way and only the Gov needs to know so they can continue to pull the strings. Kind of twisted huh?! This one has a cool three part vocal harmony in the chorus. I also like the solo's in this song.
